The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus commanding District Magistrate, Allahabad (respondent-2) to pass an appropriate order on the application dated 13.10.2017 in respect of succession of D.B.B.L. Gun No. 20586-95, Licence No. 194, P.S. Kaundhiyara, distt. Allahabad, expeditiously.
Without entering into the controversy involved in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to District Magistrate, Allahabad (respondent-2) to pass an appropriate order on the application dated 13.10.2017 in respect of succession of D.B.B.L. Gun No. 20586-95, Licence No. 194, P.S. Kaundhiyara, distt. Allahabad,, expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the concerned authority, according to provisions as provided under Rule 13 of Arms Rules, 2016.
