2. Learned Public Prosecutor has submitted that as per report of the Excise Inspector concerned, no case is registered or pending against the petitioner in the Excise Range Office, Nilambur.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner also.

4. In the light of the submission, petitioner cannot have any genuine apprehension of arrest now.

The application is closed without prejudice to the petitioner moving again in case of apprehension of arrest in future.
