This writ petition has been filed for issuing of mandamus directing the Senior Superintendent of Police, Varanasi and Station House Officer, Police Station- Sigra, District Varanasi to ensure the fair investigation in pursuance of F.I.R. dated 13.10.2018 in Case Crime No. 704 of 2018, under Sections 307 and 506 I.P.C., Police Station- Sigra, District- Varanasi.
It is alleged that F.I.R. was lodged on 13.10.2018 but police is not proceeding in the matter.
In the facts of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no. 2 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Varanasi to ensure the fair investigation in Case Crime No. 704 of 2018, under Sections 307 and 506 I.P.C., Police Station- Sigra, District- Varanasi and submit the report by Investigating Officer under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. as early as possible.
