Heard learned advocate Mr. Thakkar for the applicant and Mr. Sharma for respondent No. 2.
Learned advocate for the petitioner submitted that settlement was arrived at between the parties however, subsequently respondent No. 2 backed out from her consent. The learned counsel for petitioner submits that in this view of the matter FIR deserves to be quashed. In this context learned advocate for respondent No. 2 submitted that respondent NO. 2 does not have objection if the FIR is quashed qua petitioner Nos. 2 to 8 but not qua petitioner No.1 the husband.
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that by now chargesheet might have been filed. Thus so as to enable learned APP to verify whether the chargesheet is filed or not. S.O to 27 th December 2012.
