Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
Present writ petition has been filed for a direction upon respondent No. 2- Commissioner, Agra to decide the appeal of the petitioner.
The primary objection raised by the petitioner that the writ petition is not maintainable as under the provisions of Arms Act, 1959 against the order of District Magistrate dated 21 April 2018 for cancelling the arms licence appeal lies before the Commissioner.
Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy available to the petitioner with liberty to approach the Commissioner in accordance with law.
