1. Heard Sri Ajay Vikram Yadav, learned counsel for appellant and learned Standing Counsel for State-respondents.
2. Appellant's application for grant of fire arms licence has been rejected by District Magistrate, Mainpuri (respondent 2) vide order dated 14.06.2019. Thereagainst statutory remedy of appeal lies before concerned Commissioner under Section 18 of Indian Arms Act, 1959 (hereinafter referred to as “Act, 1959”) and this is what has been said by learned Single Judge in judgment dated 09.07.2019, impugned in this appeal, while dismissing the writ petition on the ground of alternative remedy.
3. Availability of statutory remedy of appeal is not disputed by learned counsel for appellant.
4. Hence, we do not find any manifest error in the impugned judgment passed by the learned Single Judge warranting interference by this Court. Appeal lacks merit.
5. Dismissed accordingly.
