Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Vikas Budhwar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents-Hindustan Petroleum.
By means of this writ petition the petitioner has come up to this Court for a direction that his representation dated 12.9.2018 filed as Annexure- 8 to the writ petition be considered and decided by the Hindustan Petroleum. The petitioner had applied for LPG dealership pursuant to an advertisement dated 27.12.2016. His name was drawn out in the lucky draw. The petitioner fulfilled all the formalities but no further action was taken. However, an intimation was given to the petitioner for giving alternate site for establishment of the agency. The petitioner responded by filing an application, which has remained pending and has not been decided. Hence, this writ petition.
Sri Vikas Budhwar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents-Hindustan Petroleum submits that a fresh draw has taken place on 13.10.2018 and somebody else has been chosen, namely, Sri Sunil Kumar Rajee.
Be that as it may, since the petitioner's application has remained pending, it would be appropriate to direct the Hindustan Petroleum-respondent no.3 to consider and decide the same in accordance with law, as far as possible, within a fortnight from the date a certified copy of this order is presented before the authority concerned.
With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
