The petitioner, who claims to have filed objection under Section 34, against the arbitral award, has filed the instant petition seeking a direction to the Court below to decide application 6C, wherein prayer has been made for stay of execution of the award.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that several dates have been fixed for disposal of the said application, but the same has not been decided so far.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that opposite party to the proceedings has already entered appearance and is contesting the proceedings.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the Court below to make all efforts to decide the said application, expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
