After some argument in the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner comes up with the prayer to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a fresh application for compounding relying upon the fact that in similarly placed matter of one Jaswant Singh the authorities have accepted the compounding application.
Writ petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. It is, however, provided that in case such an application is filed before the authority concerned, the same shall be dealt with, at the earliest possible, without being influenced by the order under challenge in this petition.
