Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition reads thus:
"To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned F.I.R. dated 31.05.2017 (Annexure No.-1) lodged against the petitioners in Case Crime no. 146 of 2017 under Section 498-A, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. along with Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S. Amariya, District Pilibhit."
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 bearing no. 17 of 2018 dated 17.03.2018, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
