The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a writ of mandamus directing the Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Jaunpur, i.e., respondent No. 1 to decide Appeal No. 695/895 (Rattiram Vs. Shobhna) under Section 11(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953.
Without entering into the merits of the case, Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Jaunpur, i.e., respondent No. 1 to decide the aforesaid appeal within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, in case there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid appeal.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
