This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, interalia, for the following relief:-
"(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to permit the petitioner to deposit instalments under the condition of sanctioning loan in which period has been given till 2024."
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
At the very outset, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-Bank stated that this writ petition is not maintainable as the relief is being sought against a private bank.
Since the petitioner, in fact, is seeking relief against a private entity and no citation has been issued in the matter, we do not see any justification to issue any mandamus in the matter exercising our jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is dismissed.
