ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) Borrower, who had failed to repay the loan availed from M/s.UCO Bank, Chennai / respondent, has sought for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the proposal dated 22.07.2016, so as to enable payment of dues.
2. On 11.08.2016, a Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court has ordered notice. On 13.02.2017, when the matter came up for hearing, there was no representation. Hence, Registry was directed to post the writ petition, under the caption, 'for dismissal'. Thus, it is listed today.
3. Mrs. Hemalatha, learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank submitted that though time was granted, payment has not been made. Submission is placed on record.
4. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioner, either in person or through pleader. Therefore, we are constrained to dismiss the instant writ petition for default. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
