1. The present application is filed by the convict seeking extension of temporary bail granted by this Court by order dated 18.05.2012 in Criminal Misc.Application No.6790 of 2012. Learned Advocate for the applicant made available for perusal the original photograph as the xerox copy of the same does not convey any information. The house is in process of being constructed.
2. RULE.
Mr.L.R.Pujari, learned Additional Public Prosecutor waives service of Rule on behalf of the respondent-State.
3. Learned APP made available for perusal the jail remarks. The convict is undergoing life imprisonment for offences under Sections 302, 149, 143, 147, 148, 307 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code in Sessions Case No.27 of 2002, wherein he was convicted by judgment and order dated 27.02.2008. By now, he has undergone 10 years, 8 months and 24 days as on 22.05.2012. The convict has enjoyed temporary bail on two different occasions. Beside, has has also enjoyed furlough leaves on 5 different occasions. Every time he has reported in time.
4. For the contents of the application, the same is allowed. The temporary bail granted by this Court by order dated 18.05.2012 in Criminal Misc.Application No.6790 of 2012 is extended for a period of 30 days, with an understanding that no further extension be asked for.
5. The applicant shall surrender to the Jail authorities on expiry of the temporary bail period.
6. Rule is made absolute.
Direct service is permitted.
