Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
The present petition has been filed for a direction upon the Court concerned to decide Original Suit No. 161 of 1996 (Smt. Rasso Devi and others Vs. Smt. Shyamo Devi and others) within a stipulated period.
It is the case of the petitioners that suit is pending since 1996, therefore, a suitable direction be issued to learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Hasanpur, J.P. Nagar to decide the suit expeditiously.
Considering the fact that the suit is pending for more than 20 years, the Court concerned is directed to decide the suit expeditiously, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of certified copy of the order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
