O R D E R This writ petition is filed praying to issue a writ in the nature of habeas corpus directing the respondents to produce the father of the writ petitioner, who was allegedly picked up by the police on 13-12-2017.
2. Sri E S Indiresh, learned Additional Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, filed an affidavit sworn to by Sri Mirza Ali Raza, Inspector of Police (CCB), Bengaluru city, stating that the father of the petitioner was arrested in connection with Crime No 405 of 2017 and produced before the jurisdictional court on 20-12-2017.
3. However, Sri M Sharass Chandra, learned counsel for the petitioner, files a memo, seeking permission of the court to withdraw the petition as not pressed.
4. The affidavit and the memo are placed on record.
5. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
