1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioner.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:
(i) To issue a writ of certiorari, order or direction in the nature of certiorari, quashing the order dated 6.1.1995 of Dy. Director of Education (Annexure:32) and the order dated 13.1.1995 of the manager (Annexure:33).
(ii) To issue a writ of mandamus, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding the opp. parties to treat the petitioner as Vayayam Teacher in lecturer grade and not to interfere in his working and not to deduct/recover the differences in pursuance of the Dy. Director's order dated 6.1.1995 and the manager's letter dated 13.1.1995, Annexures: 32 and 33 respectively; and not to give effect to these orders.
(iii) To issue a writ of mandamus, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding the opp. parties to treat the petitioner as senior in the lecturer grade to the opp. party no.4.
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
