Petitioner is an Assistant Manager in Union Bank of India and is aggrieved an order of transfer, whereby she has been sent to Boondi Branch, District Udaipur (Rajasthan). The order is assailed on the ground that petitioner's husband is posted at Bulandshahar, and that petitioner has also lost her brother on 16.5.2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic. Various other difficulties have also been pointed out.
Sri Vivek Ratan Agarwal, appearing for the respondent Bank states that in the event petitioner makes a representation against the order of transfer, the same shall be sympathetically considered, in accordance with the applicable policy.
From the records, it appears that petitioner has already been relieved.
It is, therefore, provided that in the event petitioner makes a representation against her transfer in light of the aforesaid facts, alongwith a copy of this order, the same shall be considered by respondent no.2, sympathetically and in accordance with the applicable policy, within a further period of six weeks, thereafter. Till a decision is taken upon the petitioner's representation, no coercive action would be taken against the petitioner pursuant to the order of transfer.
With the above observations/directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
