Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Pankaj Kumar Gupta, learned counsel appearing for the Gaon Sabha and learned Standing Counsel for the State and also perused the records.
Grievance of the petitioner is that the Declaratory Suit being Case No.49 of 2017, Computerized Case No.T201917630201021 (Ranu Singh and Others Vs. Gram Panchayat and Another), under Section 144 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, was not being decided. A prayer, therefore, has been made for a direction to decide the aforesaid suit expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid suit.
Without entering into the merits of the case, it is being directed that the Declaratory Suit being Case No.49 of 2017, Computerized Case No.T201917630201021 (Ranu Singh and Others Vs. Gram Panchayat and Another), under Section 144 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, be decided unless there is any legal impediment, within a period of one year from the date of presentation of a copy of this order. The copy of this order would be duly certified by the petitioner's counsel.
With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
