JUDGMENT / ORDER

Shaffique, J. Petitioner has approached this Court alleging harassment. According to him, he is involved in a transaction with the 4th respondent to sell a tile factory. Petitioner made efforts to sell the factory. It is stated that there was some civil dispute which was not disclosed by the 4th respondent. Further, the 4th respondent and the petitioner himself entered into an agreement, to settle the cases for a consideration. Now, the 4th respondent has given certain complaints against the petitioner on the basis of which the police is unnecessarily interfering with and calling the petitioner to the police Station on the allegation that the petitioner is interfering with the civil disputes.
W.P. (C ) No. 33695 of 2014 2 2. A perusal of the averments in the Writ Petition clearly discloses that the petitioner was summoned on the basis of some complaint received from the 4th respondent. If any complaint is received, the police is bound the enquire into the matter which does not amount to any harassment. In such circumstances, we do not think that any orders can be passed in the above Writ Petition. However, we only observe that the police is bound to conduct investigation into the complaint according to the procedure contemplated in the Code of Criminal Procedure.
This Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
