Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief -
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the Mutation Case No.T-201905440400759 'Smt. Ranjeeta Singh Vs. Shekhar Prasad and others" pending before the Court of respondent no.2 within a period of two months."
It is stated that a mutation case sought to be expedited has been filed in January 2019.
No direction for disposal of the mutation case in a time bound manner is liable to be issued because, in my considered opinion such a long period of time has not elapsed which would justify issuance of such a direction.k Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the respondent no. 2, Tehsildar, Tehsil Kasaya, District Kushi Nagar, may endeavour to decide the case as expeditiously, as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
