Learned counsel for the parties are in agreement that the present petition relates to applicability of the provision of Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
The Apex Court by its order dated 21.2.2018 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No. 8453 of 2017 (State of Haryana and Ors. Vs. M/s G.D. Goenka Tourism Corporation Limited and another) has directed stay of the proceedings of matters relating to interpretation of or concerning Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
In view of the above, the matter is adjourned sine-die. The parties are at liberty to file an application as and when the matter is disposed of by the Apex Court or any clarificatory order is obtained from the Apex Court.
