Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent.
The petitioner is before this Court with request to command the respondents to conclude the process of promotion in District Hapur from the post of Class IV (Beldar) to the post of Class III (Mate) in accordance with the Government Order no.2366/23- 7-11-160 (Court)/05 dated 16.11.2011 within time stipulated by this Court. Further prayer has been made to command the respondents to consider the promotion of the petitioners from the Class IV (Beldar) post to the Class III (Mate) with all consequential benefits. It has also been prayed to direct the respondents to consider the claim of petitioners and to pass appropriate orders for promotion on the post of Class III (Mate).
Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that the grievance of the petitioner can be very well looked into, examined and remedied by the fourth respondent.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending consideration.
With the consent of the parties and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue, the present writ petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the fourth respondent i.e. Superintendent Engineer, Western Region, Bhood Crossing, Bulandshahar to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy before him.
