O R D E R Petitioner No.1 – Smt. Ranjeet Grewal, Petitioner No.2 – Sri S.C.Tripathi, Petitioner No.3 – Sri Mandeep Singh Grewal and their counsel – Sri S. G. Bhagwan and respondent No.2 – Sri Bharath Gautham and his counsel – Sri S. Pradeep are present. On behalf of respondent No.1, learned SPP-II is present.
2. Petitioners and respondent No.2 have presented a compromise petition under Sections 320(1) and 320(2) read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking leave of this Court to permit the parties to compound the offence under section 420 of IPC and the other offences alleged against the petitioners. The application is signed by petitioners 1, 2, 3 and respondent No.2 and their respective counsels. The parties are identified by the counsels.
3. The parties submit that they have entered into the aforesaid settlement freely and voluntarily without any force and coercion and in terms of the said compromise, respondent No.2 submits that he has withdrawn all the allegations made against the petitioners and seeks to quash the proceedings initiated against the petitioners for the offence punishable under Sections 120-B, 417, 420, 506 read with Section 34 of IPC.
4. In view of the above compromise petition and the submissions made by the parties, the parties are permitted to compound the above offence.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. The proceedings pending against the petitioners in C.C.No.2676/2014 on the file of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Bangalore Rural District, are quashed.
