Hon'ble Naheed Ara Moonis,J. Hon'ble Saumitra Dayal Singh,J.
1. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
2. Petitioner has challenged the recovery of Rs.7,47,376/- being pursued against her towards electricity dues. According to the petitioner, compliance has not been made to the earlier order passed by this Court in Writ C No.20289 of 2020 vide order dated 18.01.2021. On the other hand, distribution company submits that a detailed order has been passed on 11.03.2021, wherein relying on the inspection report, it has been inferred that the petitioner had installed load of 10 horse power against sanctioned load of 5 horse power. Since no meter had been installed, allegation of unauthorized use of electricity has been made.
3. Be that as it may, without entering into the merits of the respective claims or the correctness of the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the respective parties, we find, at present the demand is being pressed pursuant to the order dated 11.03.2020 which is in the nature of final assessment order.
4. In that view of the matter, petitioner has adequate alternative remedy of appeal. Leaving that course open to the petitioner, no good ground is made out to offer any interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
5. Writ petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.
