ORDER:
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, who had taken notice, has obtained instructions, which show serious allegation of tampering and forgery by the petitioner with respect to the documents viz. General Power of Attorney dated 28.08.2013, produced in the material papers along with writ petition. There also appears to Cr.Nos.538 of 2014 and 542 of 2014, registered against the petitioner, pending before the II Town Police Station wherein investigation is taken up with regard to the allegations of fraud and tampering.
2. However, learned counsel for the petitioner addressed a letter dated 02.12.2014 before the Registry seeking permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition.
Hence, without expressing any opinion on the investigation pending in the crimes aforesaid and giving liberty to the respondent/police to investigate into the crimes aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
