Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner is aggrieved by the installation of electric tower for carrying high tension electric line over his agricultural land.
The submission is that the respondents have already erected one tower in respect whereof compensation has already been paid to the petitioner but unfortunately another electric tower is being erected on the land of the petitioner.
The respondents are carrying high tension wire in public interest and there is no bar under the law that two towers can not be erected on the agricultural land of a single person.
In view of the above, we find no merit in the petition and it is dismissed.
