Following orders were passed in the matter on 20th March, 2018:
"Grievance is that petitioners were sent to Dial 100 for one year, and while this period has expired, but they are not being relieved.
Learned Standing Counsel prays for and is allowed a week's time to obtain instructions.
Post as fresh on 28th March, 2018."
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions in the matter. A letter of the I.G., Police (Establishment) U.P., Lucknow, dated 2nd October, 2017, has been produced, as per which, the term of one year for being deputed in Dial 100 Scheme has been extended by a further period of one year.
In view of the fact that term in Dial 100 Scheme has been extended for a further period of one year, the plea of the petitioner, for being repatriated to his earlier position, cannot be entertained.
Writ petition is dismissed.
