JUDGMENT / ORDER

Rule.
Learned APP, waives service of rule on behalf of respondent.
Heard Learned APP for the respondent.
The applicant, a life convict having reasonable good jail record and had fairly remained in jail for 6 years and 7 months, seeks temporary bail on the ground of serious ailment of paralysis of his wife and there is no other elderly member to support and make financial arrangement. In the past, the applicant when released on furlough and/or temporary bail has reported in time to the jail authority.
Considering the overall jail record, I am inclined to grant 15 days of temporary bail from the date of his release on furnishing personal bond of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) to the satisfaction of the jail authority on usual terms and conditions. On completion of the temporary bail, the applicant shall surrender before the jail authorities in time.
Rule is made absolute.
