This is a writ petition of the year 2009. The only relief claimed in the writ petition is for a direction to the Commissioner, Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur to hold enquiry into the matter. The allegation is that the respondent no.5-Smt. Godhani has been withdrawing widow pension in the name of another person Smt. Chandrawati and is therefore, misusing the fund of the Gaon Sabha. It is also alleged that she is also withdrawing Vriddha Pension under Processed Pensioner's Scheme in the name of Chandrawati. It is stated that the petitioner and other villagers have made complaint regarding misuse of Gaon Sabha fund but nothing has happened thereafter. However, since no is present for the petitioner we dismiss this writ petition for want of prosecution.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
