This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P.No.607/2014 pending before the Family Court, Tirur transferred to Family Court, Ottapalam. 2. The marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became sore and bitter. They instituted proceedings against each other for various reliefs. The petitioner instituted M.C.No.152/2014 before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Pattambi claiming protection and the respondent instituted O.P.No.607/2014 before the Family Court, Tirur for divorce.
3. The petitioner points out that she finds it extremely difficult to go over to Family Court, Tirur to attend the case and she has nobody to accompany her. She also points out that she has considerable financial difficulties. She therefore prays that the matter pending before the Family Court, Tirur may be transferred to Family Court, Ottapalam.

4. Though notice was served on the respondent, there is no appearance.
5. Since there is no objection on the part of the respondent and also since it is found that the request for transfer is genuine, it is felt that the relief can be granted to the petitioner.
In the result, this petition is allowed and O.P.No.607/2014 pending before the Family Court, Tirur shall stand transferred to Family Court, Ottapalam.
