JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 32
Case :- WRIT - C No. - 5564 of 2021 Petitioner :- Ramulal Respondent :- State Election Commission And 20 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Veer Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Bhupendra Nath Singh,Tarun Agrawal
Hon'ble Rohit Ranjan Agarwal,J.
This writ petition has been filed assailing the order dated 22.01.2021 whereby the appeal of the private respondents was partly allowed.
Sri Tarun Agrawal, Advocate, had appeared for the Election Commission and states that elections of Gram Panchayat had already been taken place in the State of Uttar Pradesh in the month of April, 2021 and thus this writ petition has become infructuous. He further contends that the petitioner had earlier moved an application alleging that 96 names had wrongly been included in the voter list which was expunged by the order of Sub-Divisional Magistrate. On appeal, the District Magistrate had included 17 names out of 96 names. Aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner had preferred this writ petition.
I have heard learned counsel for the Election Commission and perused the material on record.
As the election of the Gram Panchayat in the State of Uttar Pradesh had been taken placed in the month of April, 2021, this writ petition has become infructuous.
Dismissed accordingly.
