Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State.
The sole prayer made in the instant petition is for a mandamus directing respondent no. 2 to take appropriate decision on the application of petitioner dated 9.12.2020 wherein he has prayed for getting a First Informant Report registered at Police Station Holagarh, District Prayagraj in connection with an alleged incident dated 15.11.2020.
Indisputably, the petitioner can avail the remedy provided under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. for redressal of his grievance and therefore, we decline to issue mandamus as prayed for in the instant petition.
The writ petition is disposed of with liberty aforesaid reserved in favour of the petitioner.
