Petitioner is claiming promotion to the post of Revenue Inspector, on the ground that persons, who are much junior to him, have already been promoted, but his claim has not been examined. Submission is that petitioner otherwise fulfills the requisite obligations in terms of applicable Rules, but his claim for promotion has not been examined.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that grievance of petitioner shall be examined, in accordance with law.
Considering the above, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.2, in respect of his grievance annexing all relevant materials in support of his claim, alongwith certified copy of this order. In case such a claim is raised, the same shall be examined by the authority concerned, in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned speaking order, within a further period of four months, thereafter.
