Petitioner has already submitted a reply to the show cause notice refuting the allegations of malpractices.
The only prayer made by Sri Shamsuddin Ahmad, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the authority may be directed to decide the controversy within a stipulated period of time.
Learned Standing Counsel contends that the authorities are under an obligation of law to decide the controversy within a reasonable period of time.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The license was suspended on 28.05.2021. The petitioner promptly tendered his reply to the show cause notice dated 01.06.2021. There is no good cause for the authorities to keep the matter pending indefinitely.
In the wake of preceding discussion the respondent no. 3, District Supply Officer, District Kasganj is directed to decide the controversy within a period of two months from the date of production of production of a computer generated copy of this order, downloaded from the website of High Court, Allahabad.
The authority/official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court, Allahabad and shall make a declaration of such verification in writing.
The writ petition is disposed of.
