Heard the counsel for the parties.
The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to stop the consolidation proceeding of Mauza Majhiyar, Tehsil Karvi, District Chitrakoot in pursuance of consolidation proceeding initiated under Section 4(1) of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act (notification No. 5454 dated 6.12.2013 published on 28.12.2013) or start the consolidation proceeding by making re-survey of Mauza Majhiyar, Tehsil Karvi, District Chitrakoot.
In pursuance to the previous order passed by this Court, the Standing Counsel has received instructions in the matter.
It appears from the records that the petitioners are aggrieved by orders passed by the consolidation authorities against which they have a remedy under Sections 9(2), 9-A(2) and Section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953.
The petitioners may exercise the remedies provided in the aforesaid provisions and it is not a fit case for interference by this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
The writ petition is dismissed.
