The petitioners seek quashing of the award passed by the competent authority determining compensation under the provisions of the National Highways Act, 1956.
If the petitioners have any grievance in respect of the compensation awarded, they may take recourse to the provisions of statutory arbitration under sub-section (5) of Section 3-G of the National Highways Act, 1956.
As there exist alternative remedy, we decline to entertain this petition and dispose of the same by leaving it open to the petitioners to avail the alternative remedy.
