The prayer in this petition is to command the fourth respondent (Executive Engineer Electricity Distribution Division-III, Saidpur, Ghazipur) to remove high tension wires passing within close proximity to the house/shop of the petitioner and to change its location.
Said grievance can be addressed by the District Magistrate in exercise of powers under Works of Licensees Rules, 2006.
We, therefore, deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition by giving liberty to the petitioner to apply to the District Magistrate, Ghazipur by invoking his powers under Rule 3 of the Work of Licensees Rules, 2006. It is expected that if any such representation is made, the same shall be addressed expeditiously after giving opportunity of hearing to all concerned.
The petition is disposed of.
