Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(a) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2/Tehsildar, Tehsil Harraiya, District Basti to decide the Case No.569, (Ramji Versus Radhey Shyam) u/s 34 L.R. Act, of village Teliyadeeh, Tappa Nawai, Pargana Nagar Pashchim, Tehsil Harraiya, District Basti, pending before him, within stipulated period which Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."
It is stated that a mutation case filed in April 2017 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1/Tehsildar, Tehsil Harraiya, District Basti to decide the mutation case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
