1. This writ petition is a letter sent by detenue from jail. It was said that he has completed 20 years of his life sentence and therefore, further period in jail be remitted.
2. Learned A.G.A. has filed an affidavit, stating that petitioner has already been released from District Jail, Hamirpur on 26.01.2000, after serving out 20 years of imprisonment.
3. In the circumstances, nothing survives.
4. Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
