JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. Notice returnable on 9.8.2012. Status-quo as on today to be maintained by both the sides.
2. Respondent No.2 - Chief Officer shall file affidavit explaining as to under which provision the impugned notice is given. The petitioner shall also file an undertaking by returnable date to the effect that the petitioner shall also maintain status-quo qua the possession of the land in question. Direct service permitted.
