After arguing the matter for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner filed a memo seeking leave of this Court to withdraw the petition. He submits that under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, the trial is required to be completed within a period of one year from the date of filing of the charge sheet as per Section 35(2) of the said Act.
2. In that view of the matter, petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a direction to the learned trial Judge to complete the trial in accordance with law keeping in view the aforesaid provision.
Accordingly, petition is disposed of.
