The Criminal Appeal has been filed against the conviction and sentence passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Viruthachalam, in S.C.No.234 of 2007 dated 28.04.2008.
2. Today, when the matter was taken-up, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that pending appeal, the sole appellant died on 17.07.2012. She has also produced a memo along with death certificate of the appellant.
3. In view of the submission and based on the memo filed by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
