JUDGMENT / ORDER

~~~~~~~~~~~ Antony Dominic, J.
The petitioner is the father of Reshma, the alleged detenue. He filed this Writ Petition alleging that the detenue has been abducted from his custody by respondent 6, whose father is the 7th respondent. On the filing of Writ Petition by order dated 13.6.2014 was issued admitting the Writ Petition and also ordering the production of detenue before us. Accordingly, she was produced before us today. On her appearance, we also allowed her parents to interact with her. Thereafter, in the afternoon session the case was called and we again interacted with the detenue and asked her whether she is being illegally detained by respondents 6 and 7. In answer to our question, she told us that she was in love with the 6th respondent and that the said relationship was not approved by her parents. According to her, when she got an opportunity she summoned the 6th respondent and voluntarily left with him. She denied the allegation that she is being illegally detained.
W.P.(Crl.) No.253/2014 2 2. The disclosures thus made by the detenue thus show that the allegation of the petitioner that his daughter is being illegally detained by respondents 6 and 7 is incorrect. In such circumstances, the Writ Petition cannot be entertained. Writ Petition fails and it is dismissed.
