Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being left open and the petitioner cooperating in the expeditious disposal of the pending statutory appeal, all endeavour shall be made by the respondent No. 1 to dispose of the same in accordance with law and preferably within a period of five months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
