Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By means of this contempt application filed under section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 non-compliance of the order of writ Court dated 05.10.2020 passed in Writ- A No.- 8061 of 2020 is complained of.
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instruction in compliance of the earlier order of this Court dated 02.09.02021, copy of which has been supplied to learned counsel for the applicant in the Court itself and the same is also placed on record.
As per the instruction obtained by learned Standing Counsel, now the decision has been taken by the competent authority disposing of the representation of the applicant vide order dated 09.01.2021. It is further submitted that 10% of GPF amount had already been transmitted to the account of applicant, as far back as on 08.01.2019.
In view of the above, the Court is of the view that since direction of the writ Court was to decide the representation and make payment of 10% GPF amount and both directions have now stood complied with and there remains nothing for the applicant to continue this contempt application.
Contempt application is accordingly consigned to record. Notices issued, if any, stand discharged.
