By order dated 02.04.2018 in Writ -A No. 9248 of 2018 filed by the applicant, a direction was issued to opposite party to decide the representation of the applicant within three months from the date of making of the representation.
Counsel for the applicant points out that in terms of the order of the Writ Court, representation was made to opposite party on 07.04.2018 by registered post along with certified copy of the order of the Writ Court but no decision has been taken in the matter so far.
Since, a period of three months has expired only recently and hardly any time has passed since then, therefore, this Court is not inclined to proceed in contempt at this stage but leaves it open to the applicant to file a certified copy of this order along with fresh representation before the opposite party. In that event, the opposite party shall ensure that decision in due compliance of the directions of the Writ Court is taken within a period of next two months, failing which, it shall be open to the applicant to approach this Court again by way of a fresh petition.
With the aforesaid observations, the contempt application is disposed of.
