Hreard Sri Ram Shiromani Yadav for the petitioner, Standing Counsel for the State of U.P. and Sri Anadi Krishna Narayan, for respodnents-2 and 3.
The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner on the vacant post of Chaukidar and also pay due arrears salary/Honorarium as a trained employee of corporation.
It has been stated that the petitioner was working as Chaukidar since 1992. Under the Government orders the petitioner is entitled for regularization on a permanent post. The matter has been considered by the Committee constituted for that purpose and claim of the 13 similarly situated employees has been accepted for regularization and a letter has been written to Principal Secretary(Transport) Government of U.P. (respondent- 1) on 23.11.2016 for grant of necessary approval. The matter is still pending.
The writ petition is disposed of directing Principal Secretary (Transport) Government of U.P. (respondent-1) to take a decision on the letter of Managing Director, UPSRTC dated 23.11.2016 relating to grant of approval for regularization of service of 13 daily wage employees within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
