By means of the present petition, the petitioner seeks to challenge the transfer order dated 8.5.2018 passed by the respondent Department on the ground that the said order is in violation of the transfer policy dated 02.04.2018 which requires that an incumbent should be kept at the place near his native place at the verge of retirement.
The petitioner is holding a transferable post. The the transfer is an exigency of service. Even otherwise, it is settled law that the transfer order cannot be interfered solely on the ground of violation of transfer policy in as much as, the same is in the nature of guidelines.
The petitioner is directed to join her new place of posting. In case, the petitioner joins, it would be open for her to place her grievance before the competent authority.
