Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned Additional Government Advocate.
By means of this application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. the applicant has prayed for a direction to the court below to decide the release application of the applicant expeditiously being Release Application No. 01 of 2013, filed on 16.1.2013 in ST No. 896 of 2012 (State Vs. Deepa Shukla and others) arising out of case crime No. 584 of 2012, under sections 364, 342,302, 201, 120-B, 394, 411 IPC, PS Barra, district Kanpur Nagar, pending before the XVI Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kanpur Nagar.
Learned Additional Government Advocate states that no useful purpose would be served in issuing notice to the complainant and keeping this application pending before this Court.
Considering the limited prayer of the applicant, it is directed that the learned XVI Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kanpur Nagar shall make an endeavour to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this court provided the applicant cooperates with the case.
With the aforesaid observations, this application is disposed of.
